Tokyo Friend and Relatives Bonnie, a PhD student at UC Berkeley who lived in our neghborhood, is in Japan researchin her thesis. She was meeting up with friends and we joined them.

Not to waste time while waiting for Bruce to arrive, I had lunch with my friends in Tokyo and travelled to Shizuoka to see my cousing Mieko.
