| We had never seen such a collection of small shrines, accumulated monuments and persons' expressions. I have a conjecture. This is a remote place, yet a very important site in Shinto. Relatively few foreigners visit. Hence people feel unembarrassed in expressing showing their honest sentiments about honoring kami and their departed loved ones. | |||
