| Events of 84. Being pregnant did not slow me down. We went skiing twice, once to Mammot in February and and to Yosemite in March. Also, several friends and relatives came to visit now that we have a house to host them. Tami was born in June and things did slow down after that. | |||

In February, we ventured a skiing trip to the Mommoth Mountains. Dave's friend had access to a condo and we were invited. Bruce had no experience skiing and I was pregnant so we stuck to the lower slopes cross country skiing.

My cousins Tatsushi and Fusao came to visit seperately with their friends. Tatsushi and friends rented a Camarro (they wanted Harley-Davidson but I said 'no') and drove around California and Arizona for about a week. Fusao's trip was short, only a day or two.

We went X-country skiing at Yosemite in March. Although it was warm during the day when the sun was out, it was freezing camping at night. I could not sleep at all. We aborted after the first night and opted for a cabin. Luckily not many people were there.

Mr. Kimura, who was an embassy staff at Nepal and took care of our paper work, came to visit on his way back to Japan. We went to the Mt. Tam Dipsea Trail. The lupines were in full bloom.
