Karchner and Raven     Important destinations near Tucson
Karchner Cavern Visit to Raven
Noriko knows her friend Raven from their high school days at the boarding school in Switzerland. They have kept in touch these 55 odd years. Concluding a life that knew no guardrails she recently retired to a house in outskirts of Tucson. For Noriko, it was the hilight of the trip.
Karchner Cavern is a "must see" we were told. We had to extend our stay in Arizona for a day in order to get a reservation. Access to all such attractions is sharply curtailed by COVID.

1. Karchner Cavern
The caves are carefully protected from dust and germs. No cameras are allowed. All we have to show is a shot or two at the museum desk, and a shot of the environment.

2. Visit to Raven
It has been many years since the two last got together. Raven has retired to a lovely spot at the edge of developed Tucson.
