In 1980, my father was assigned to be ambassador to Nepal. Before his departure, he came back to Japan for a while, and the family traveled to Hagi, where Kenzo lived and to Kochi, where the family grave was.

Shoka Sonjuku was a school established in Edo periold. Led by Yoshida Shoin, the school is known to educate many future scholars, polititians, businessmen, etc., who were active during the Meiji Restoration and the establishment of the goverment.

2. Kochi
Visiting the family grave. There are two family graves, one in Aki City and one in Kochi City, where the direct lineage family members are buried.
