Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada.

It consumed to time to leave I-15 and reach this place. We had low expectations. It proved a little jewel, on which I wish we could have spared more time. We had to skip the famous petroglyphs but we saw photos of them in the excellent little museum. This was the first state park in Nevada. |
A short way in, we stop for lunch. Wonderful shaded caves were thoughtfully provided.
